The Civil Ceremony

The Centurion Hotel is licensed in accordance with section 26(1)(bb) of the Marriage Act of 1949 and we can, therefore be used as a venue for the solemnisation of marriages under the provision of sections 46a and 46b of the arriage Act.

This enables you to celebrate the entire marriage at the Centurion by holding the Ceremony, Reception, Wedding Breakfast, Evening Reception as well as providing accommodation for you and your wedding guests.

By holding the Ceremony at the Centurion we can offer you the opportunity to create the Wedding ceremony of your dreams. You can compose your own Ceremony, chose your own music, poetry and readings. Although the Ceremony you decide upon must have no Religious content you will have the choice to hold anything from a themed wedding to a traditional ceremony.
